Terms of Use & Membership Agreement

1. Definitions and Scope of the Agreement

These Terms of Use & Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) govern the access to and use of Briefly Studio (“Briefly Studio”, “we”, “us”, or “the Platform”) and all current and future services, features, and digital or physical environments associated with it (“Briefly Studio Platforms”).

For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “Briefly Studio Platforms” includes, but is not limited to:

  • Websites and web pages under the Briefly Studio name,

  • Mobile or web applications,

  • Newsletters and email-based content,

  • Community spaces, forums, and member interaction areas,

  • Digital products, publications, and educational content,

  • Online or offline events,

  • Podcasts, media content, and other communication channels operated or provided by Briefly Studio.

By accessing, browsing, visiting, registering, subscribing, interacting with, or using any part of the Briefly Studio Platforms, the user (“User”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

This Agreement outlines the general terms of use of the Platform, membership conditions, user obligations, intellectual property rights, user-generated content policies, restricted behaviors, enforcement measures, paid services, liability disclaimers, and other legal provisions. Continued use of the Platform after any updates to this Agreement will be considered acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

The Briefly Studio Platforms are generally open to all visitors. However, membership, interaction, and participation features are only available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

Users under the age of 18 may only access the Platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian and may not create a membership account.

By using the Platform, the User confirms that they meet the eligibility criteria and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. Briefly Studio reserves the right to restrict access, request age verification, or refuse membership for safety, compliance, or operational reasons.

3. Membership and Account Types

Creating a membership account on the Briefly Studio Platforms is optional. Most content can be viewed without registering. However, certain features—such as posting content, saving preferences, joining discussions or communities, or accessing exclusive materials—may require membership.

Briefly Studio may offer multiple membership tiers, which may include but are not limited to:

3.1 Standard Membership (Free)

Provides the ability to create a basic user profile with limited interaction features.

3.2 Community Membership (Engagement-Based)

Provides access to community features such as comments, forums, groups, posting or sharing content, and engaging with other users.

3.3 Premium / Paid Memberships (May Be Introduced)

Paid memberships may provide access to exclusive content, digital products, courses, webinars, premium newsletters, enhanced community privileges, or other services offered by Briefly Studio. Features and benefits may vary by plan and are subject to change.

3.4 Account Responsibilities

  • Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an account.

  • Membership accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, or shared with others.

  • Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

Briefly Studio reserves the right to review, approve, decline, conditionally accept, or terminate membership applications if necessary.

4. Account Security and Verification

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts. Any unauthorized use or suspected security breach must be reported to Briefly Studio immediately.

Briefly Studio may, when necessary, implement identity or account verification procedures, request additional information, or temporarily limit access to protect users and the Platform from fraudulent, harmful, or suspicious activity.

Using or attempting to use another person’s account without authorization is strictly prohibited.

5. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

Users agree to use the Briefly Studio Platforms in compliance with applicable laws, ethical standards, and this Agreement. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or public order,

  • Posting or sharing content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, violent, or otherwise inappropriate,

  • Infringing upon others’ privacy, copyright, trademarks, intellectual property, or personal rights,

  • Engaging in spam, promotion, advertising, or commercial activities without consent,

  • Creating fake identities, multiple accounts for manipulation, or impersonating others,

  • Use of bots, automated scripts, scraping tools, data mining, unauthorized APIs, or other automated systems to collect or misuse data,

  • Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, malicious code, or harmful software,

  • Disrupting, damaging, overloading, or interfering with the proper functioning of the Platform, its servers, or security systems.

Briefly Studio may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently terminate a User’s account without notice in cases of breach of these obligations.

6. User-Generated Content (UGC)

Users may share, post, or submit comments, messages, text, images, videos, links, files, or other forms of content on the Platform (“User-Generated Content” or “UGC”).

By submitting UGC, the User confirms that:

  • They hold all necessary rights and permissions to share such content,

  • The content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party,

  • They assume full responsibility for the UGC they publish.

6.1 License to Use User-Generated Content

By submitting UGC, the User grants Briefly Studio a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, and share the content in relation to the Platform’s operation, improvement, and promotional activities across any media channels.

Briefly Studio retains the right to remove, filter, edit, or block any UGC that violates this Agreement or is deemed inappropriate, without obligation to provide notice or justification.

7. Intellectual Property and Content Usage

All content made available on the Briefly Studio Platforms—including but not limited to text, articles, graphics, visuals, videos, audio, design, branding, logos, digital products, and all associated intellectual property—is owned by Briefly Studio or licensed from third parties and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Users may view and access the content for personal and non-commercial use only. Unless expressly permitted by Briefly Studio, Users may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, republish, translate, distribute, display, sell, license, or commercially exploit any content,

  • Use Platform content to train AI models or develop derivative datasets,

  • Claim ownership over the Platform’s content or remove ownership notices.

Any unauthorized use of the Platform’s content may result in legal action.

8. Restricted Activities and Enforcement

The following activities are strictly prohibited. If detected, Briefly Studio may remove content, limit access, suspend features, temporarily or permanently terminate an account, or take further action without prior notice:

  • Violations of intellectual property, personal rights, privacy, or data protection laws,

  • Unauthorized commercial activities, advertising, or promotions on the Platform,

  • Impersonation of individuals, brands, or entities,

  • Using the Platform to harm, manipulate, misinform, exploit, or harass others,

  • Circumventing security systems or attempting to gain unauthorized access,

  • Interfering with the integrity of the Platform, its data, or its community environment.

Briefly Studio reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for improper or unlawful use of the Platform.

9. Paid Services, Billing, and Refunds

Briefly Studio may offer paid services, subscriptions, memberships, or products such as premium content, digital products, courses, training programs, events, or other value-added services. Details regarding pricing, payment terms, access rights, and renewal conditions will be presented at the time of purchase.

Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes—where applicable—will be governed by specific policies accompanying the paid service. If not explicitly stated, paid fees are considered final and non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer protection regulations.

Users must provide accurate billing information and ensure that payment methods are valid and authorized at the time of purchase.

10. Events & Meet-up Liability Disclaimer

Participation in events, gatherings, training, workshops, or meet-ups—whether online or in person—organized or facilitated by Briefly Studio or its community is voluntary.

Briefly Studio is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, accident, incident, health issue, travel-related problem, or other claims arising from participation in such events. Users are responsible for their personal safety and conduct.

Events organized by third parties are subject to their own terms and Briefly Studio is not responsible for any related issues.

11. Ambassador / Representative / Influencer Programs

Briefly Studio may establish ambassador, representative, influencer, content creator, or collaboration programs. Participation is optional and may require application, approval, or fulfillment of specific criteria.

Users accepted into such programs agree to comply with the rules, brand standards, and collaboration terms defined by Briefly Studio. The Platform may approve, reject, modify, or terminate any program or individual participation at its discretion.

12. Third-Party Links and External Services

The Briefly Studio Platforms may contain links to external websites, products, or services that are not owned or controlled by Briefly Studio. These links are provided for convenience only.

Briefly Studio does not guarantee, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, policies, accuracy, functionality, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Users access third-party services at their own risk and are responsible for reviewing their terms and policies.

13. Termination of Use and Account Suspension

Briefly Studio may suspend, restrict, or terminate a User account at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • The User violates this Agreement or Platform policies,

  • Harmful, abusive, or unlawful behavior is detected,

  • The account poses a security, legal, or operational risk,

  • False, misleading, or fraudulent information is provided,

  • Required verifications are not completed when requested.

Users may delete or terminate their membership at any time. Termination does not exempt the User from any obligations or liabilities incurred prior to the termination date.

14. Governing Law, Updates, and Effective Date

This Agreement is intended for international use and is written in neutral global English. If required by local laws, additional localized versions may be provided and, where applicable, mandatory consumer protection laws of the User’s region may apply.

Briefly Studio may update or revise this Agreement at any time. Changes take effect once published on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
